Dylan's 1st Christmas!

Trip to Rockefeller center

He hovered 'round the stairs to see if he could catch a peek at Santa!

Then he met up with his Christmas pals!

They hung out for most of the day.

Rode on his new horsey.

Need we say more.....

11 Weeks

Time is going by so quickly. Dylan now weighs 13-14 lbs and is 23 inches. He's now reaching for stuff, cooing, and laughing...which we can't get enough of. Sleeping through the night is getting better for him... as well as us.

It's been a few weeks....

Alright, so we need to keep the updates a little more frequent. Dylan has been really taking it all in. Sometimes all he needs is to be sat up and then it's just him observing his surroundings. He loves taking baths and showers. We think he has the sun and the moon confused though. He now is beginning to smile more. We have really been enjoying him and thank God everyday for our blessing. Here's some more pics:

More Dylan

Sleep, sleep, and more sleep...we envy him!

He'll never sleep through a diaper change and almost always will keep us alert with a little pee right to our eye.

Right where he loves to be...

Laughing.

Suspicious.

We find it more amusing for him to sing us a lullaby.

Falling asleep to " The pharmacokinetics of ether".

Welcome to the world Dylan!

Dylan made his appearance on July 9th, weighing 8 lbs 4oz. Jeannine did a superb job during her 13 hours of labor

It's amazing how you can love somebody so much after knowing them for just a few minutes .

Heaven sent

angelic and sweet

a bundle of joy

so precious and meek

An answered prayer

a soul with a seed

to grow for God

and live for a need

Works of Almighty

from up above

meant to be

meant to love

For you alone

are proof to show

there is a Lord

we all must know

New Beginnings

As many of you know, we started our journey together in May of last year. It was such a phenomenal day!

Then it was off to Hawaii! To us this was paradise. This was taken on a sunset cruise off of Maui. We have come to an agreement that this is place where we will have to continually visit throughtout our lives.

Shortly after our return to the mainland... we got Maui. He's half pug and half beagle. He's extremely smart, stubborn, and loves to act cool by pretending his bone is a cigar.

Then we welcomed the newest addition to the family... our nephew, Makai.

A few months later, in November, we too would be expecting our own bundle of joy

We closed on our house in Connecticut on March 7th. We'll take you through a quick tour...

In the meantime, Dylan is making himself comfortable in his own little nest.

Then there's Dylan's nursery...

His room was the funnest and most exciting to to put together.

This is one of my favorite pictures!

We're almost there ...we can hardly wait!

Stay tuned for more of the exciting life of Mr&Mrs Smith...
